Does it contain alcohol?
Due to the fermentation process, Kombucha may have 0.5% traces of alcohol. Too little, so it is categorized as non-alcoholic.

How should Kombucha be handled?

Please store it in the fridge as it is alive and will continue to ferment if left outside. In the fridge, the cold temperature slows down the fermentation process. You may see tiny bits of scoby and that is perfectly normal and healthy and so good for you.
